La Costa
La Costa represents the pinnacle of the quality expressed by the Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva. The truncated cone-shaped bottle is a tribute to the princely version of 1925-26. This wine expresses the elegance and richness of a white wine that does not fear comparisons with the great Italian and transalpine wines.
It comes from the late harvest of the best Vernaccia di San Gimignano grapes pressed after a brief cold maceration on the skins. Fermentation takes place in barriques, where it ages for a period of approximately eight months. It is offered to the public after aging in the bottle for at least four months.
